Shower & maternity session for baby #3! {Keller Maternity Photography}

Sweet Meagan has been through a lot since the birth of her second baby. Including major surgery and a hospital stay. For baby number three we planned her maternity session on the day of her baby shower. It was so relaxed and fun. She had never had maternity pictures done before and I was honored to be the one to do them for her. This pregnancy hasn’t exactly been a breeze and she deserved to fell special! You looked beautiful Meagan!

Featured wedding in “The Knot” Texas edition {Collyville Floral Design}

One of the weddings that I did a few years back was featured in “The Knot” Texas edition. (The Knot is a very popular wedding magazine.) I was not the photographer for this wedding so the images you see are screen shots from the pdf. Some how I ended up forgetting my camera to take pics for myself. I was actually their florist and consultant for the wedding day.
This was one of the most beautiful, unique, classy, personal weddings I have ever been a part of.

The bride was planning a fall themed wedding and she had some great ideas. She was a designers dream client because she told me exactly what she did and didn’t like and then let me run with it. I used a mix of dried and fresh flowers and greenery along with copper wire, beads and feathers. These included crocosmia, freesia, hanging amaranthis, hypericum berries, mums, rosemary, acorns, wheat, millet, cat tails and these weird little pods (as seen in the boutonniere picture below). The bouquets included clusters of acorns with leaves made out of copper wire and beads and a beautiful feather flower each in a different color. Each boutonniere was created from a different “flower” but all included rosemary for a fragrant greenery. They were each finished by wrapping the stems in chocolate brown ribbon and a spiral of copper wire.

Ellis Family session {Fort Worth Family Photography}

I have done this family’s portrait sessions the last 2 years in a row. It is fun to see how much the kids grow and change from year to year. It was a beautiful day for an outdoor session! We took our time and let the kids play. That always makes for happy, genuine smiles in the images. I brought my little man along with me today and as far as he was concerned we were just out on a play date.

showers {Fort Worth Floral Design}

Here are a few corsages I made for a baby shower a few weeks ago. We made a wrist corsage for the mommy to be and pin on corsages for the grandmothers out of bright pink gerber daisies, seeded eucalyptus and wax flower.
The arrangements below were for a bridal shower. I used 3 different types of hydrangeas in antique green, perriwinkle and blue. I used the large leaves from the hydrangeas to wrap the inside of the vases and accented the arrangements with seeded eucalyptus and wax flower.
